Typescript letters signed from Augustus Thomas, New York, to various recipients [manuscript], 1916.

Correspondents: (1) Mrs. Orlando Rowland and (2) William Winter. (1) Dated January 13, 1916. Thomas declines an invitation from Miss Allen to act as Chairman Pro-tem of an Executive Committee to recognize William Winter's birthday. (2) Dated March 22, 1916. Replies to Winter's note, thanking him for his part in the testimonial to Winter. Thomas takes great delight in Winter's books and hopes they will meet more frequently in the future. With accompanying envelope addressed to Winter at 46 Third Avenue, New Brighton, S.I., NY. Both letters on letterhead from the Offices of Charles Frohman Empire Theatre, New York.
